About Skosh Jacobsen

Skosh Jacobsen, L.M.H.C., is a child, individual, marriage and family therapist practicing in Marysville, Snohomish and Bellevue. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the State of Washington and a National Certified Counselor with the  National Board for Certified Counselors (N.B.C.C.).

 Education:
Skosh is a Masters level therapist and a graduate of Western Seminary Seattle

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree double-majoring in the fields of Psychology and Sociology from Seattle Pacific University.  In 2001 Skosh completed the Chemical Dependency Professional Training Program at Bellevue Community College and is in the lengthy certification process.

Skosh’s family and clients have provided her a wealth of experiences with ADHD and associated disorders.  Skosh has five adult children and nine grand children and is a Parenting/Family Coach as well as a Parenting Educator for two excellent parenting programs.  She is also trained in Chemical Dependency Counseling.  Skosh is always learning and stays current through reading, researching the Internet, taking advanced trainings and participating regularly with several professional organizations.  Among Skosh’s many interests, Skosh loves to sing with her granddaughter, Emma.
